Daikin has launched its next-generation Madoka Plus controller for commercial applications across Europe. Designed for hotels, offices and retail outlets, the controller combines touchscreen operation with optional intelligent sensors for temperature, humidity, CO2, motion, doors and windows.
The wide colour touchscreen uses taps and swipes to provide access to temperature, operating mode and airflow settings. Colours, icons and animations offer real-time feedback and visual guidance, while multi-language support is intended for use in international commercial environments.
Madoka Plus received a Good Design Award 2025 for its aesthetics and user-focused design. The controller has a compact 86 × 86 mm (3.4 × 3.4 in) glass format and is available in black or white.
Optional wireless sensors communicate directly with the controller and provide real-time room data. Through the updated Madoka Assistant app, users can create interlocking logic to adjust temperature according to occupancy, switch off systems when windows are open, activate dry mode during high humidity and optimise ventilation based on CO2 levels.
For installers, Madoka Plus offers touchscreen commissioning, built-in diagnostics, last-error history and access to operational parameters. The controller was designed and developed at Daikin Europe’s R&D facility in Ghent, Belgium, and is available across Europe from July 2026.
