Pietro Galliani Launches GALFLO Eco Green Brazing Flux Free of Reprotoxic Hazard Statements

Italian metals specialist Pietro Galliani has introduced GALFLO Eco Green, a new range of brazing fluxes formulated to eliminate the reprotoxic hazard statements H360 and H361, addressing growing regulatory and workplace-safety demands in industrial brazing.

The flux is boric acid-free and uses a controlled, optimised borate content that removes reprotoxicity from the formulation. As a result, the products do not carry the H360 and H361 hazard classifications and are fully compliant with the European REACH regulation. The reformulation targets the requirements of quality, HSE, and purchasing departments at manufacturing companies that are working to remove substances considered critical from both a regulatory and a safety standpoint.

GALFLO Eco Green is designed to maintain performance levels equivalent to traditional fluxes despite the changed formulation. The products retain oxide removal capability, process stability, and consistent brazing results, allowing manufacturers to switch without compromising joint quality.

The range is available in three application formats: powder, paste, and coated rods, covering different production and process requirements. Removing reprotoxic hazard statements from the workplace reduces operator exposure risk and supports safer, more compliant brazing processes.

GALFLO Eco Green is positioned for the industrial brazing sector, where fluxes are used in joining operations across HVACR component manufacturing and related applications.
